Is it required that I be Roman Catholic to attend the school?
No!
While Pope John Paul II High School is unabashedly Catholic, our education is open to any young person who wants high-quality, college-preparatory education and wants to know God better in his/ her life.

Is the school accredited?
Pope John Paul II High School earned a maximum 10-year accreditation in the fall of 2010.

What sports are currently offered?
Fall: Cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, boys' soccer, girls' soccer, volleyball
Winter: Boys' basketball, girls' basketball, cheerleading, ice hockey, swimming
Spring: Baseball, lacrosse, sailing, softball, boys' tennis, girls' tennis

Can I transfer into JPII?
Yes, it is possible to transfer into an existing class.
Call or email the admissions office for additional information.

What transportation options exist?
We have transportation from the Bourne, Pocasset, Cataumet, North Falmouth, Falmouth, East Falmouth, and Mashpee areas. Call 508.862.6336 x104 or email for details.

Additionally, all families, including out-of-district families, may receive bus transportation from the Barnstable School District. Contact the Barnstable School District for additional information. BREEZE buses also provide service.

And, of course, car pooling is available.

What are typical class sizes?
Required, core classes will have 15-25 students.
Elective and upper-level course will have smaller class size.

Is there a dress code?
PJPII High School students are required to wear a school uniform.
